What is massage in the workplace? 

MMC Wellbeing therapists use a variety of massage techniques upon a fully clothed client seated in a specially designed portable chair. Following a treatment employees will feel revitalised and energised, giving them a break away from their desks. 

Where can the treatment be carried out? 

Ideally we would recommend a private office or room with space to set up a portable massage chair or bed. This will create the right environment to carry out a treatment. Alternatively a relatively quiet space in which the treatment can take place. We will be happy to discuss the best option for your company. 

Is the massage suitable for everyone? 

Generally most people can receive a massage. If you are undergoing medical treatment or on medication let your therapist know and they can discuss your options. 

What is the minimum time required for an MMC Wellbeing appointment? 

Whatever the size of your company, whether large or small, we are happy to tailor our visit to your needs. This could be as little as an hour. 

How much time per person is recommended for a treatment? 

For you to get the most from a treatment we recommend a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes per person. We will of course be happy to tailor a treatment for you individual needs. 

What type of treatments can I choose? 

You can choose to have a treatment using a portable massage chair, lying on a portable massage couch or seated in a chair at your desk. Treatments can be done through clothes or with lotion. 

What can I expect from an MMC Wellbeing Therapist? 

Our therapists are fully trained and insured. Many have qualified through our associate company Devon Academy, ensuring you receive the highest standards of service. If at anytime you would like an alternative therapist, we will be happy to arrange.
